Connect

Import a profile. In Profiles, add a connection link, QR code or HTTPS subscription URL.
Select it. Confirm that the server details match the configuration supplied by your provider.
Approve VPN permission. Tap Connect. iOS asks to add a VPN configuration the first time. No separate root certificate is installed.
Verify traffic. After the status becomes Connected, open a page in Safari and check your public IP and DNS. The simulator cannot test the real VPN tunnel.

Frequently asked questions

Connect does not start the tunnel.

Use a physical iPhone, select a valid profile and approve the iOS VPN prompt. Check the server, port, credentials and Reality/TLS fields against your provider's configuration. If it still fails, send support the error text, not your secret connection link.

Does v2app provide a VPN server?

No. v2app is a client. You choose the connection profile and server. The server operator may have its own privacy practices.

Why won't my subscription import?

The subscription URL must use HTTPS and return supported connection profiles. Ask your provider for an up-to-date URL.

How do I remove a profile and VPN configuration?

Delete the profile in Profiles. The VPN configuration saved by iOS may remain; remove it separately in the iPhone Settings app under VPN. Deleting the app removes its local app data.
